An artist of African-American and Mexican descent, Natasha Carrizosa celebrates her heritage through the poem “MexiAfricana.” Born in Texas, the creative writer’s multi cultural roots are a constant within her body of work. “El Nuevo Sol” thanks Carrizosa for performing a selection of her poetry pieces.
