Guest Speaker: Afro-Latinx Identity with Edlin Veras
Doctoral student Edlin Veras speaks with CSUN students about the study he and his mentor, Dr. Elizabeth Hordge-Freeman, conducted on the dissonance faced by Afro-Latinx people. Their study is titled, “Out of the Shadows, Into the Dark: Ethnoracial Dissonance and Identity Formation among Afro-Latinxs.” Veras’s visit occurred on February 12, 2021.
